Must Haves·
10+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Site Reliability Engineering, Resiliency Engineering, or related technology roles within a large enterprise· Deep expertise in AWS services, cloud resilience patterns, and enterprise cloud operating models· Strong proficiency in AWS CDK, AWS CloudFormation, or other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) delivery approaches· Extensive experience in resilience engineering domains, including High Availability, Observability, Disaster Recovery, Testing, and Posture Analysis· Demonstrated experience delivering complex, cross-functional cloud engineering initiatives end-to-end· Strong understanding of enterprise governance, PDLC frameworks, security/risk processes, and operational readiness· Strong product ownership, project management, and process design skills· Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, interpret technical detail for executives, and convey delivery status clearly· Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of operating independently in a fast-paced environment· Experience using Jira, Confluence, and engineering workflow tools· Hands-on experience with AWS Resilience Hub is a strong asset· Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Haves· AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional· AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional· Experience in financial services or other regulated environments· Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework, cloud resilience assessments, operational readiness, chaos engineering practices· Experience creating executive presentations, process documentation, user guides, and operational support materials
Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
