Job Overview:
We’re looking for a dependable, skilled Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The duties include assisting the service manager with leading a team of automotive service technicians and support staff, handling customer interactions and scheduling, as well as ordering parts and maintaining inventories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers and discussing their needs.
- Answering customer inquires, either in person or on the phone.
- Coordinate with technicians and the service manager to determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies for customers.
- Source parts from the company’s trusted vendors to procure the necessary parts and merchandise.
- Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers and technicians about repair timelines.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic, as well as demonstrated customer relations skills.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in a professional automotive, truck, or industrial vehicle shop setting.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of digital technology including the ability to use the internet and proficiency with industry digital tools.
- Valid driver’s license (Class G) with a good driver record (i.e. clean abstract).
- Minimum secondary school diploma or equivalency certificate.
