What does it take to work for Avenge Energy Services?
- Three (3) year working alongside Hydrovac Trucks - preferred
- Three (3) year Oil & Gas Sites, Pipeline work experience - preferred
- Above average computer and smart phone safety app experience
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time
- On call rotations, night shifts, weekends, holidays and over-time expected
- Ability to pass pre-employment, re-occurring customer pre-access and post incident drug and alcohol testing. Fit for duty requirement throughout the year.
- Pre-Requisite Safety Certificates - First Aid w/CPR, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance 201, Confined Space, PCST, CSTS2020, Gas Detection, CSO. We will assist employees who need support obtaining.
- 72-hour negative COVID test or proof of vaccination recommended to qualify for client pre-access requirements (company has access to Rapid testing)

Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, backhoes, and paving machines with precision and safety.
- Perform maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Support construction activities such as grading, paving, horizontal drilling, and site preparation.
- Assist with the transportation of materials using commercial driving skills when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during operations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment around equipment and work sites.
Experience
- Swamper on Vac Trucks: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification
- Class 5 or 5Q license (required)
- Ground Disturbance 201 (preferred)
- Pipeline Construction Safety Training (PCST) (preferred)
- Fall Protection (preferred)
- H2S Alive (required)
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO) (required)
- First Aid and CPR (required)
- Oilfield and Pipeline: 3 years (required)
