ABA Therapist / Instructor Therapist — Inclusive Milestones Child Development Centre Barrie, Ontario | Full-Time, Permanent | Monday to Friday
Inclusive Milestones provides individualized, comprehensive ABA therapy to children and families through a multidisciplinary, child-centred approach. We believe therapy should be accessible, convenient, and delivered by practitioners who are genuinely passionate about the work. We are looking for an energetic and creative ABA Therapist to join our team and provide daily ABA therapy interventions in centre.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in centre
- Work with children from diverse backgrounds and specialized populations
- Collaborate and consult with clinical team members across disciplines
- Create and develop therapy materials as needed
- Monitor and track client programming progression
- Provide families with resources, information, and home practice ideas
- Report directly to the BCBA and Clinical Director
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children with exceptionalities
- Minimum 1 year of related ABA experience
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to the work
- Patience is mandatory
Additional Information
- This position offers 30–35 hours per week with the potential to transition into a full-time role
- Successful candidates must submit a current Vulnerable Sector Check from their residing police jurisdiction prior to commencement — documents must be issued within the last six months
- Applicants must be located within a 100-kilometre radius of Barrie, Ontario
