Dr. Vetamin Primary, Referral & Emergency Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced ER/ICU Veterinary Technician Team Lead to join our emergency and critical care team.
This role is designed for a strong technician who is passionate about emergency medicine, critical patient care, leadership, and mentoring technical staff in a collaborative hospital environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the nursing and technical care of emergency and hospitalized patients.
- Monitor ICU patients including ECG, blood pressure, oxygen therapy, fluid therapy, and anesthesia recovery.
- Assist veterinarians with emergency procedures, advanced diagnostics, and surgeries.
- Coordinate technical workflow and support the veterinary technician and assistant teams during shifts.
- Mentor and support junior technicians and assistants.
- Ensure accurate treatment sheet completion and medical documentation.
- Help maintain ICU organization, equipment readiness, and emergency preparedness.
- Assist with advanced diagnostics including radiography, abdominal ultrasound preparation, echocardiography preparation, and laboratory procedures.
Qualifications
- RVT preferred.
- Experience in emergency and/or ICU veterinary medicine strongly preferred.
- Strong anesthesia and patient monitoring skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency environment.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with EzyVet or similar veterinary software is considered an asset.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
