Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Craft a variety of drinks with speed and precision, ensuring each one meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, approachable manner, creating a welcoming and memorable experience.
- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional service, keeping communication open during busy shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring it’s fully stocked and operational throughout your shift.
- Stay up-to-date with our beverage menu and any daily specials, recommending drinks that align with guest preferences.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol, ensuring responsible service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Supervise and guide the front-of-house team during shifts, ensuring excellent guest service and smooth operations.
- Provide hands-on assistance during peak times, ensuring that guests are promptly attended to and that service standards are consistently upheld.
- Address guest concerns or feedback in a positive and solution-oriented manner, maintaining the high level of service guests expect from Original Joe’s.
- Help monitor and maintain front-of-house areas, ensuring a clean, welcoming, and organized environment at all times.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bartending Experience: 1-2 years bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar preferred, with a knack for mixology and staying on top of the latest drink trends.
- Multitasking Skills: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple tasks with ease, staying organized and efficient during busy shifts.
- Passion for Hospitality: You have a love for creating memorable experiences through outstanding drinks and excellent service.
- Leadership Experience: 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a high-volume restaurant or bar setting.
