Position Overview
Mercedes-Benz Langley is currently seeking a Valet/Shuttle Driver to join the Service team. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and professional transportation for customers to and from the dealership.
As a key front-line representative of the organization, the Valet/Shuttle Driver plays an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting the overall operations of the Service Department. This position also assists with general errands and ensures the shuttle vehicle is well-maintained and presentable at all times.
The expected pay for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport customers to and from the dealership in a safe, timely, and courteous manner
- Maintain cleanliness and overall condition of the shuttle vehicle
- Monitor and perform basic vehicle care, including fueling and reporting maintenance needs
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel usage
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times
- Adhere to company standards regarding vehicle use, including maintaining appropriate radio settings and prohibiting food, drink, or smoking in vehicles
- Support the Service Department by completing errands and other assigned tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Promptly report any vehicle damage, safety concerns, or equipment issues to the Service Manager
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Accurately record hours worked in the company timekeeping system
- Demonstrate and uphold Dilawri’s Core Values in all interactions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous driving or customer service experience is an asset
Skills & Abilities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to company standards
Additional Requirements
- Must meet company dress and grooming standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as entering/exiting vehicles and light errands
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
