Description / Responsibilities / Skills
Must Have
- 8+ years of experience with P25 radio technology design and/or support (preferably Motorola environment)
- 5+ years in a supervisory role managing or administering a P25 radio network
- Hands-on experience with encryption equipment such as KMF, KMF workstation and KVL
- Experience using Motorola ZoneWatch, Provisioning Manager (PM), and Unified Event Manager (UEM) or similar tools
- Experience producing reports related to LMRN usage and operations
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize, schedule, delegate and review work
- Ability to develop recommendations and proposals
- Ability to obtain OPP Level 4 Security Clearance

Responsibilities
- Develop, recommend and manage technical architecture for large distributed cross-platform environments
- Define hardware, software, database and communication architecture components
- Identify appropriate systems environments and infrastructure for applications
- Lead implementation of technical architecture across complex radio and communication systems
- Support modernization of Public Safety Radio Network infrastructure
- Collaborate with stakeholders across ministries and emergency services
- Contribute to large-scale telecommunications and network transformation initiatives
- Provide technical guidance on system integration, deployment and operations
- Ensure system performance, reliability and interoperability across communication platforms
- Participate in governance processes and architecture reviews
General Skills
- Leadership experience in developing and implementing technical architecture
- Experience across multiple platforms, operating systems, database technologies and communication protocols
