Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial evaluation of capital expenditure projects by developing and leveraging financial models to assess project feasibility, including IRR, Payback Period, NPV, and cash flow analysis.
- Provide financial leadership throughout the capital project lifecycle, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and ongoing financial performance monitoring.
- Manage and maintain the annual Capital Expenditure (CapEx) budget and Long-Term Plan (LTP), partnering with business leaders to prioritize investments and optimize capital allocation.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual CapEx reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership, providing meaningful insights into project performance, budget utilization, and financial risks.
- Act as the subject matter expert on CapEx versus OpEx classifications, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, approval processes, and depreciation requirements through regular stakeholder training.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, Business Technology, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Leadership, Mondelez, and external auditors to develop business cases, financial models, reporting, and post-implementation reviews.
- Lead financial analysis for post-project reviews and cash flow forecasting while identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and business decision-making.
- Champion Give & Go's Leadership Competencies by fostering employee engagement, performance management, talent development, succession planning, compliance training, and living our RDQAS company values.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies, Food Safety requirements, SQF standards, and internal control procedures.
The Recipe for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- CPA, CA, CBV, or CFA designation required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, capital budgeting, business case development, and capital expenditure management.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, US GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, and best financial practices.
- Advanced financial modelling skills with demonstrated expertise in Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Present Value (NPV), and Payback methodologies.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial information and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment while driving continuous process improvement.
- Results-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working independently with strong attention to detail.
