We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive product presentation
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product information
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Uphold store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Support team members in achieving sales goals through collaborative efforts
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve a diverse customer base (e.g., English and other languages)
- Experience in retail sales, including technology or product demos preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and basic math skills for transactions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Phone etiquette and professional demeanor when interacting with customers over the phone or in person
- Ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with retail technology is a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting relationships
Pay: $17.00-$37.00 per hour
