About Soneil:
Soneil Spark builds EV charging and mobile energy infrastructure, from residential and commercial chargers to mobile charging trailers and the software that runs them. Backed by more than 30 years of battery and charging expertise under the Soneil Group, we're building the next generation of energy products and moving fast to get them into the market. We're hiring a technical project manager to own our projects end to end, from internal coordination through to delivering finished products and outcomes to customers.
We're a startup, so no two months look the same. This is a role for someone who owns, executes, and delivers without needing to be managed. We're not looking for someone to fill a seat. We want a great project manager who raises the bar for how the whole company runs, and who will be trusted with the full picture and expected to drive deliverables to completion.
What You'll Own:
- Lead technical projects across the business end to end, setting timelines and budgets, identifying risks early, and driving them to resolution
- Track progress against clear metrics and keep leadership informed with regular, honest (transparent) status updates
- Serve as the connective point across product, engineering, sales, and leadership, including coordination with our R&D team across time zones
- Own the delivery of products to customers, including deployment coordination, logistics, cross-border US and Canada importation, customs, and site readiness
- Manage grant and government-funding programs, keeping applications, reporting, and compliance accurate and on time
- Track certification, labeling, and product compliance across Canadian and US markets
- Act as a technical point of contact for customers, partners, and suppliers
- Own vendor and partner coordination, and source and onboard new ones as needed
- Establish and maintain the documentation, tools, and processes that let the business scale, and run retrospectives to keep improving how we work
Who We're Looking For:
- 4+ years owning technical projects or programs, with a proven track record of delivering, ideally in hardware, energy, manufacturing, or a related field
- Completion of University Degree or College Diploma is preferred
- The judgment to know what matters most and the drive to take things from start to finish independently
- Exceptional organizational instincts and the ability to run multiple workstreams without dropping threads
- Comfort with ambiguity and a genuine bias toward ownership in a fast-moving environment
- Willingness to get into the details, including the operational and logistical work that delivery requires
- Clear, direct communication with technical and non-technical audiences alike
- Familiarity with structured project management methodologies and tools (Jira, Odoo, or similar)
- A degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Bonus: PMP or equivalent certification, and experience with government grants, regulatory compliance, cross-border logistics, or EV charging and energy systems

Pay: $85,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
