We are currently recruiting a Financial Services Representative to fill a permanent vacancy in our Elmira Branch.
Reporting to the branch manager, this role should appeal to someone looking to further their banking career in a generalist role and contribute their skills and knowledge providing holistic advice and solutions relating to everyday banking, investments and personal credit solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover the member’s need, challenges/opportunities and financial goals
- Provide recommendations and advice, using available tools, resources, and calculators to help members apply good financial practices to their situation
- Fulfill solutions to meet member needs, offering investment choices from Kindred’s portfolio of registered and non-registered products, personal credit solutions, and everyday banking products
- Deepen member relationships through proactive contact with members to renew investments or term loans, or inform members about opportunities that would benefit them
What to bring
You have a solid understanding of banking products and services and are highly service oriented. You are highly organized, demonstrate a strong attention to detail, and easily connect with clients. This role is suited to someone with a solid foundation in banking and looking to increase their breadth of knowledge especially in investments.
You will be part of a collaborative workplace where you’ll be asked to participate in the business and share your voice. You’ll be expected to continually grow your skills and abilities and to share your expertise and experience with team members.
Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in financial services in a client facing role
- Post-secondary education, preferably in business or commerce
- Proficient in relationship building, asking discovery questions, and comfortable proactively contacting members
