Job Overview
Penteco is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Liner Geomembrane Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with intermediate to senior-level expertise in the installation, welding, and testing of geomembrane liners. As a key member of our team, you’ll work on a variety of challenging projects, ensuring high-quality installations and adherence to safety and industry standards.
Duties
- Install various liner types (HDPE, LLDPE, PVC, BGM, GCL) with proficiency.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisor, clients, and team members.
- Execute complex installation methods and ensure quality.
- Mentor junior technicians on welding techniques and best practices through hands-on training and skill development.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-10 years of experience working with geomembranes or liners in construction, containment, or related fields.
- Knowledge of industry-specific safety protocols and best practices.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications or training in geosynthetic installations preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for work, as projects will require on-site presence.
- Physical fitness is required, as the role involves manual labor, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
