We are currently looking for a dependable, safety-focused Transload Operator to join our team in Tilley, Alberta.
This is a hands-on position working primarily outdoors in a dynamic industrial environment. If you enjoy physical work, operating equipment, solving problems, and being part of a close-knit team, we'd like to hear from you.
The successful candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and physical fitness assessment.

What You'll Do
As a Transload Operator, you will:
- Safely load and unload products, primarily frac sand, following established operating procedures.
- Inspect railcars, trucks, equipment and work areas before and after operations.
- Operate site equipment and loading systems safely and efficiently.
- Weigh trucks and maintain load information using the Cardinal scale system.
- Complete shipping documentation, rail paperwork and operational records accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
- Identify and report equipment issues, hazards and operational concerns.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and communicate operational needs.
- Work closely with fellow Operators, Administration and the Terminal Manager to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Follow all Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Assist with general terminal operations and other duties as required.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious and enjoys working outdoors.
Ideal qualifications include:
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and physical fitness assessment.
- Previous industrial, construction, agricultural or heavy labour experience.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Preference will be given to those with valid skid steer or trackmobile certifications.
- H2S Alive and First Aid certifications are required.
- Basic computer skills and comfort with data entry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
No formal education is required. We are prepared to train the right individual.
Physical Requirements
This role requires an individual who is comfortable performing physically demanding work.
You must be able to:
- Lift, push, pull and climb as required.
- Work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
- Perform repetitive physical tasks safely throughout the workday.
