With Operations growing, we are looking to hire a full-time, permanent Accounts Payable & Administrative Clerk for our Finance & Accounting team located in Maple Ridge, BC.
The role requires a positive, detail-oriented individual, capable of completing a high volume of accounts payable with accuracy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate thrives on meaningful, but repetitive work and will work under the support and direction of our finance & accounting team.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payable and Administrative Clerk is responsible for Accounts Payable functions and performing administrative duties. This role works closely with team members to support operations.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Compile invoices for weekly cheque runs
- Reconcile accounts payable listings with vendor records to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Enter vendor invoices into the ERP system (SAP Business One)
- File Accounts Payable and inventory records
- Office administration and reception support at front desk
- Signing in guests, coordinating deliveries
- Provide additional administrative and accounting support as required
Requirements
- Enrollment in or completion of an Accounting Diploma, and/or previous experience working in an office environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new systems and programs quickly
- High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Pay: $44,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
