Job Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring inventory records are accurately maintained on behalf of all clients. The Inventory Control Coordinator will coordinate with the Distribution Manager and/or the Client the conducting of cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts. The Inventory Clerk is also responsible for documenting variances and performing investigations regarding inventory discrepancies. The Inventory Control Coordinator must comply with the regulatory GMP and corporate polices as well as uphold safety polices including safe work practices.
Specific Duties
- Coordinate with Distribution Manager and/or Client the scheduling of cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts.
- Thoroughly investigates inventory discrepancies.
- Communicate with clients regarding inventory related issues.
- Ensure that a predetermined schedule for each client’s cycle count is properly maintained.
- Ensure the security of all product handling in accordance to government regulation.
- Move damaged product to designated location within the warehouse and within the WMS.
- Track client inventory inquiries for the purpose of reporting to clients on a resolution.
- Make necessary inventory adjustments authorized.
- Update the CRM in a timely manner with the results of all inventory investigations
- Respond to inquiries from clients.
- Performs other duties as requested by Supervisor or Distribution Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Secondary education
- Certified to operate MHE such as Raymond Reach, Cherry, Walkie, etc
- Strong mathematical ability
- Able to read, write and understand English
- Excellent phone manner able to communicate effectively
- Requires a broad understanding of inventory record keeping
- Keyboard / Computer literacy and accuracy
- Above average attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, and Internet
- Good understanding of GMP
- Extensive knowledge of in-house inventory tracking system
Hours: Monday - Friday, 11:00am - 7:30pm
