Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service
- Supervise and motivate staff members, including hiring, training, conducting interviews, and scheduling shifts to optimize team performance
- Oversee food handling procedures and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Utilize POS systems such as Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate food ordering, and oversee food preparation processes to uphold quality standards
- Lead by example in restaurant management practices, fostering teamwork, leadership development, and a positive work environment
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting with strong team management skills
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Prior restaurant management experience with a focus on customer service excellence and food safety compliance
- Experience in interviewing candidates for restaurant roles and building effective teams
- Knowledge of food handling regulations, sanitation standards, and restaurant experience including barista or hotel experience is advantageous
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively
