The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director, Partnerships to lead and scale Orveo’s enterprise sales and strategic partnerships function. This is a senior, revenue driving role responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing partnerships with multinational organizations, as well as building relationships with post secondary institutions across North America and internationally.
The Director, Partnerships will own the outbound sales motion, refine the go to market approach, and build a high performing partnerships pipeline. This role will also provide leadership and direction to the existing partnerships function and work closely with operations and program leadership to align delivery with demand.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Enterprise Sales and Partnership Development
- Identify, target, and engage multi-national organizations with large, globally distributed workforces
- Build relationships with decision makers across human resources, learning and development, and executive leadership
- Lead outbound sales efforts from initial outreach through to close
- Develop and execute strategies to secure large scale, multi-cohort program engagements
- Represent Orveo in high value meetings, presentations, and negotiations
Strategic Partnerships
- Establish and grow partnerships with post secondary institutions and professional associations
- Structure partnerships that enable program delivery through institutional channels
- Identify new market opportunities and expansion pathways
Sales Leadership and Execution
- Lead and mentor the partnerships function, including direct oversight of current sales team members
- Establish clear performance expectations, pipeline targets, and accountability frameworks
- Build and manage a scalable outbound sales process
CRM and Pipeline Management
- Implement, manage, and optimize CRM systems and sales workflows
- Track pipeline activity, conversion metrics, and revenue forecasting
- Ensure disciplined follow up and pipeline progression across all opportunities
Marketing and Growth Alignment
- Collaborate with leadership on program positioning, messaging, and go to market strategy
- Contribute to partnership driven marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Ensure alignment between sales efforts and program capacity

- Consistent pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities
- Signed partnerships with multinational organizations and institutions
- Growth in program enrollments driven by outbound efforts
- A structured, scalable sales process supported by CRM discipline
- A high performing partnerships function with clear accountability
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years experience in B2B enterprise sales, partnerships, or business development
- Proven track record of selling into large organizations with complex buying cycles
- Experience in online learning, or professional development is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to access and influence senior decision makers
- Strong commercial instincts with a bias toward action and results
- Experience building and managing sales pipelines and CRM systems
- Leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop team members
- High level of professionalism, confidence, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and do what it takes to secure high value meetings and partnerships

Compensation
- Base salary of $100,000 CAD
- PLUS: Performance based compensation tied directly to outbound sales results
