What you will be doing:
- Support survey control network activities, including setting up tripods, tribrachs, prisms, and assisting with monument installation.

Assist the Surveyor and Crew Leader with daily field survey operations.

Support layout and staking activities for earthworks, utilities, and structural elements.

Set up, operate, and maintain survey instruments under supervision (total stations, GNSS, digital levels).

Assist with field measurements, data collection, and basic field calculations.

Maintain accurate field notes and documentation.

Help manage, organize, and care for survey equipment and materials.

Follow instructions from the Surveyor to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Support general site coordination activities as required.

Adhere to project safety standards and QA/QC procedures.
What we are looking for:
- Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field (preferred).

No prior work experience required; previous field or co-op experience will be considered an asset.

Basic understanding of surveying principles and ability to read construction drawings.

Willingness to work outdoors in an active construction environment.

Ability to work in exposed outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures.

Physical ability to perform job duties in an active construction environment, including lifting and carrying equipment.
