Fractional Property Management Operations (Contract)
Only candidates with direct hands on residential property management experience will be considered.
This is a field role that requires travelling accross GTA/Assigned territory.
Ideal for someone retired/semi retired or looking to get back in job market after a break
Location: Greater Toronto Area ( Field-Based- on road)
Type: Independent Contractor / Fractional
Hours: 10–20 hours per week initially
Compensation: Monthly retainer plus performance incentives

Vasera is a modern residential property management company serving landlords across Ontario. We are building a technology-enabled operating platform combining local field support, centralized operations, and industry-leading response times.
We are seeking an experienced Property Management Operations support to help build and scale our operating platform during the next phase of growth.
Role Overview
This is not a traditional property manager role.
We are looking for an experienced property management professional who can help train team members, support client onboarding, oversee field operations, and provide operational support as the company grows.
The successful candidate will work directly with the founder and play a key role in shaping the future operating model of the business.
Responsibilities
- Support onboarding of new landlords and properties. Be on the client site to discuss Vasera value proposition and conduct property assessment/ rent readiness.
- Discuss rental pricing with landlords and help close the deals.
- Train and mentor field associates- on doing hands on move-in/move-out inspections
- Coordinate maintenance and vendor workflows
- Assist with leasing and tenant onboarding processes
- Review operational issues and recommend solutions
- Support implementation of property management software and workflows
- Ensure service standards are maintained as the portfolio grows
- Participate in weekly operations meetings
- Provide guidance based on prior property management experience
- Assist with development of property management operations and SOPs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years residential property management experience
- Willingness to drive accross GTA to client sites.
- Strong understanding of Ontario landlord and tenant practices
- Experience managing residential rental portfolios
- Experience with Buildium, Rentvine, AppFolio, Yardi, Property Vista, or similar software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a startup environment
- Experience training staff or building operational processes is an asset
