The Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and enforcing the Mandir’s policies and guidelines, with a firm belief in Shraddha (Devotion) and Saburi (Patience), to ensure that devotees are able to worship Shirdi Sai Baba appropriately.
The duties and responsibilities include:
· Perform and oversee daily operations of the Mandir.
· Help and coordinate devotee requests for Shawl offerings, Paduka booking and Prasad offerings etc.
· Coordinate with devotees visiting the Mandir and ensure that all Mandir policies and guidelines are followed at all times.
· Ensure timely cleaning of altar and worship equipment before and after scheduled Aratis and Pujas.
· Arrange and organize all worship items for daily and other regular events including any special events.
· Ensure timely cleaning of altar and worship equipment before and after scheduled Aratis and Pujas
· Ensure that shawls offered by devotees are offered according to the calendar schedule.
· Distribute Mandir publications, resource centre items.
· Coordinate Prasad offerings and kitchen cleaning, empty garbage bins after every offering.
· Participate in various promotional programs conducted by the Mandir.
· Promptly direct all suggestions / grievances by visitors to the Mandir management.
· Perform any other duties assigned.
Conditions of Employment:
· This job requires working in a shift environment on weekdays and weekends at any time between the hours of 6:45 AM - 10 PM.
· Candidates should have a reliable means of transport for their commute. TTC service is available. Please check TTC schedule to confirm that you can meet requirements of your shift hours at any time between the hours of 6:45 AM - 10 PM.
· This contractual employment is based on the applicant’s ability to legally work in Canada with a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN), as applicable.
