Located in Stittsville, Ottawa, one of Canada's fastest-growing communities, The Blackstone is a unique destination featuring a restaurant, coffee bar, grocery market, and speakeasy—all under one roof. We're looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our team, grow the business, and create an unforgettable guest experience.
What We're Looking For
We're searching for a passionate, hands-on leader who has:
- Previous General Manager or senior hospitality management experience.
- A professional, confident presence and strong leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and people management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with social media, content creation, and marketing.
- A creative mindset that thinks outside the box and brings fresh ideas.
- Financial and operational management experience, including labour, inventory, and profitability.
- The ability to build, motivate, and inspire a high-performing team.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Lead all day-to-day operations.
- Recruit, train, organize, and motivate the team.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Develop creative marketing and social media strategies.
- Increase sales and profitability through innovative ideas.
- Maintain the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Work closely with ownership to continue growing the business.
