Starting Rate: $39.07 hourly (to be adjusted based on proven previous experience)
Salary Range:$39.07 - $56.00 hourly
Status: Permanent part-time
Hours of Work: Will be scheduled a minimum of 30 hours (4 shifts) during a two-week period, including every other weekend. Opportunity to pick-up additional shifts.

The Pines has been serving seniors with care and dignity in our community since 1961. Our cozy and comfortable home encompasses five resident home areas (one secure) and has four wonderful courtyards with plenty of outdoor spaces to roam about.
The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Director of Resident Care (DOC), the Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable to provide professional nursing care to residents and to supervise care given by staff. Primary functions include assessment and planning of resident care needs; delivery of skilled procedures according to the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice; medication administration; and documentation.
What you will do
Provide for nursing care of residents in accordance with established policies, physician’s orders, the resident care plans and within the scope of practice of a RN
Order, receive and administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with the standards set by the Ontario College of Nurses
Observe and monitor condition of residents and report changes in physical or mental status
Develop, implement, evaluate and adjust resident care plans
What you will need
Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Completed police record check, including vulnerable sector screening
BScN preferred
Experience in long term care or rehabilitation is preferred
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
