Cleaner & Maintenance Worker – Black Dog Hospitality (Kingston, ON)
Black Dog Hospitality is looking for a reliable Cleaner & Maintenance Worker to support the cleanliness and upkeep of all Black Dog Hospitality locations. This role is essential to keeping our restaurants safe, polished, and guest‑ready every day.
About the Role
You’ll handle deep cleaning, routine maintenance, and general handy‑person tasks across multiple sites. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Deep cleaning of dining rooms, washrooms, kitchens, and back‑of‑house areas
- Routine maintenance: painting, patching, minor repairs, touch‑ups
- General handyman tasks (fixtures, hardware, small carpentry, basic repairs)
- Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety issues
- Ensuring all spaces meet cleanliness and safety standards
What You Bring
- Experience in cleaning, maintenance, or general labour
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage time well
- Basic knowledge of tools, repairs, and safe work practices
