Premiere Home and Nursing Care Inc . is looking for RNs and RPNs to come and join our team providing in-home, home and nursing care for client needs determined on an individual basis. At present, we are looking to complete staffing for a particular home care case.
All applicants must present a current registration / certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario as well as CPR certification. We also require staff to hold membership with RNAO and will be asked to sign a confidentiality form.
A valid drivers licence is also required.
Primary responsibilities will be to provide individualized personal and nursing care including:
-one man transfers with aid of a mechanical lift
-ongoing individual assessment while providing personal care of hygiene, skin and wound care
-bowel and bladder protocol including catheterization
-medication administration
-pain management
-meal preparation
-assisting in outings
Secondary responsibilities will include household duties.

- Please note this is a casual position that would begin training on the night shift with the potential to move to more part-time hours to cover team time off requests. The potential to move to day shift is also a possibility once night training is complete. The position is in Welland. Please ensure you can reliably commute to this location.
