We are seeking an experienced server in an established restaurant located in North Nanaimo. You will be responsible for presenting the food and beverage preferences in an engaging way. Minimum 1-2 years experiences required.
Duties AND Responsibilities:
- Create a memorable and pleasant dining experience for guests.
- Greet customers upon arrival.
- Provide suggestions for food or drink choices.
- Sanitize and set tables throughout shift.
- Respond to questions about food, beverage, wine or other services.
- Anticipate guest needs.
- Respect and Teamwork; no request is too difficult.
- Work safely; monitor the cleanliness of your section and ensure all areas are safe and free from clutter.
Skills AND Qualifications:
- Ability to work evening, weekend
- 1-2 years minimum experience as a server
- Serving it right holder
- A positive, energetic outlook and a passion for food and beverage
- A sense of urgency to satisfy the needs of others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
