Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and charismatic Server to join our team at Oretta. In this role, you will deliver outstanding guest experiences by providing attentive service. Following our attentive Steps of Service and our Hospitality guidelines, your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable moments for our guests while ensuring smooth restaurant operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a lively, upscale dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining or brunch settings
- Proficiency with Toast POS system or similar
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy
- A strong passion for Hospitality that shines through service
- Wine knowledge and cocktail knowledge an asset, Italian food knowledge an asset

Availability requirements: We are looking for Servers who are available Full-time for 5 shifts a week (must work weekends).
Must be available on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 9am consistently each weekend as this is our Brunch Service. Must also be available for flexible day shifts or night shifts as this is a high volume and event-based location.
Must be available the months of June through August with the World Cup coming to the city and additional Events.
