The Department of Anthropology is inviting applications to teach a course in fall 2026. Please complete the online application form and upload the required documents. ANTH 202 – Socio-Cultural Anthropology
An introduction to ways of understanding what it means to be human from the perspective of socio-cultural anthropology. Students will be introduced to diverse approaches to this question through engagement with a wide range of ethnographic cases.

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education: MA required; Priority to holders of Ph.Ds with specialization in relevant areas, or near completion of degree.
Experience: Priority will be given to candidates with relevant field research background and experience in teaching introductory courses in socio-cultural anthropology
This course will be taught by one instructor in-person.
