Material Handler and Production
Position Summary
Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, this role is responsible for shipping, receiving, issuing supplies and merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Material Handler ensures all warehouse activities are completed efficiently, safely, and accurately in a clean and organized facility.
Schedule & Compensation
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Available Shifts:
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Primary Responsibilities
Receive and ship incoming and outgoing materials
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and inspect for damage
Sort and organize materials for proper storage or distribution
Package outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper handling (including export requirements where applicable)
Perform all shipping and receiving tasks as required
Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records
Complete administrative tasks and reports in a timely and accurate manner
Use computer systems, including ERP software, to track and manage inventory
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines
Proficient in computer systems (e.g., MS Office and ERP systems)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Knowledge of WHMIS and workplace health and safety standards
Proven reliability with consistent attendance and ability to arrive on time every day
