The Painter Operator reports directly to the shift supervisor and is responsible for the daily operation of the paint systems. This position will run and operate a Paint Table, Paint Wheel, and Dip Painting. This position is required to complete quality checks upon completion of their work process.
The Saw Operator reports directly to the shift supervisor and is responsible for the process of accurately measuring and cutting of all bar stock materials. This position will learn and run the Front Saw, Back Saw, Friggi Saw, and Maintenance Saw. Finally, this position is required to complete quality checks upon completion of their work process.
This position will work Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm on the Afternoon shift.
Job Duties
Painter
- Read, follow, and understand drawings of products.
- Know how to read an imperial tape measure.
- Safely operate overhead and jib cranes to move products.
- Monitor paint quality, coverage, and thickness to ensure compliance with standards.
- Apply paint to products using spray equipment in accordance with work order requirements.
- Replace filters, nozzles, and other consumable parts on painting equipment.
- Clean and maintain paint sprayers and paint lines to ensure proper operation and longevity.
- Complete quality checks as per the quality procedures.
- Always ensure that you are performing your job safely.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Saw Operator
- Read, follow, and understand drawings of products.
- Know how to read an imperial tape measure.
- Operate the Saw machinery accurately, safely, and efficiently.
- Utilizing the rollers, measure out the cut correctly prior to starting the machine.
- Review the drawing for measurements to ensure the cutting process is completed correctly.
- Complete quality checks as per the quality procedures.
- Always ensure that you are performing your job safely.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED.
- 1 or more years in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with imperial measurements.
- Ability to read and understand product drawings.
- Capable of conducting quality checks and inspections.
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Clear and solid understanding of policies, practices, and procedures.
- Manual dexterity required.
