Arne’s Welding Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of Aggregate and Lowbed Trailers in Western Canada.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The position of Sandblaster will provide daily Sand Blasting of trailers and parts
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Move and setup trailers/parts for Sand Blasting into blast booth
- Experience in sand blasting large equipment
- In some cases, able to sandblast one piece of equipment without stopping until unit is finished
- Maintain daily and weekly preventative maintenance of equipment
- A good understanding or familiarity with MOD-U-BLAST equipment
- Able to follow instruction/procedures in a fast-paced workplace
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 yrs experience on large equipment
- Physically fit to move media by hand in some cases and reload blast pot
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills
- Some knowledge and experience with continuous improvement principles
- Experience in the heavy equipment industry or similar
- Experience using MOD-U-BLAST equipment
