(GMG) has evolved into a leading manufacturer and supplier of metal stampings, assemblies, headrest and armrest inserts, wire form, and other metal components to the automotive industry. Position Summary:
Maintaining and organizing tools in the Tool Crib for production staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· All accountable items issued to skilled/production workers (sign out system).
· Requisition any products required for inventory in crib. (Min/Max on die components).
· Receive or possibly ship to suppliers (by courier service).
· Keep inventory of assorted gases.
· Keep Tool Crib clean and in an orderly fashion.
· Measure all incoming punches and buttons to requisition sizes.
· Pick up parts as required.
· Any other duties as assigned.
· Will comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Grade 12
Be attentive to details. Be self reliant working with a computer
Previous tool crib attendant exposure would be an asset.
Manufacturing experience is a must.
Familiar with precision measuring tools.
Familiar with Automotive Manufacturing Environment
