Royal Wood Design builds and installs high-end custom kitchens and millwork throughout Newfoundland & Labrador.
We are hiring a top-level Cabinet Installer who can install custom cabinetry independently, efficiently, and professionally.
This is not an entry-level or helper position.
Who This Role Is For
- A skilled installer with 5+ years of cabinet installation experience
- Someone who can run an install from start to finish
- Someone who does not require supervision
- A tradesperson who takes pride in tight seams, clean lines, and proper adjustments
- Someone who understands that installation is the final impression of the company
If you need training on how to level cabinets or install fillers, this is not the role for you.
Responsibilities
- Independently install custom kitchens and millwork
- Read and interpret shop drawings accurately
- Install panels, fillers, trim, and mouldings with tight tolerances
- Adjust doors and drawers to professional standards
- Complete installs efficiently with minimal return trips
- Identify issues before they become problems
- Communicate clearly with the office when materials are missing or site conditions change
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years installing custom cabinetry (not box-store assembly)
- Strong understanding of leveling, scribing, fastening, and layout
- Ability to problem-solve on-site without constant direction
- Experience working in finished residential homes
- Valid driver’s license
- Own professional-grade installation tools
Applicants without direct cabinet installation experience will not be considered.
