Job Summary
We are seeking friendly, attentive, and organized Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food service operations are preferred but not required. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in hospitality, food safety, and cash handling while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area including tables, counters, and service stations
- Assist with basic math calculations for billing and change-making
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food industry or restaurant environment is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic knowledge of food service operations and hospitality principles
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Must be able to serve guests courteously and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
