of residents every day. We are hiring for a server to join our dedicated team! Join us today and be
part of a team of Servers that will support with the set-up of the dining room, and all aspects of
serving and clean up associated with dining services within our residence.
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Take orders and serving meals and beverages to residents in a professional and courteous
manner
- Bus tables and resetting place settings
- Assist with cleaning dishware, cutlery at the conclusion of each dining service as required
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with catering, and actively participate in special occasion and theme events
- Comply with all provincial regulations and established department policies and procedures
- Complete other tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- SMART Serve Certified
- Preference will be given to individuals who have previous experience in the food service
industry and/ or working with seniors
- The ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to physically lift and transfer heavy and hot items, and stand/ walk for majority of
shifts
