Hyde Park Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time veterinary technician. We strive to provide quality and progressive care for all of our patients.
The ideal candidate is a registered veterinary technician and has prior experience in the field. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, the ability to multi-task and be a team player.
Duties include:
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Assisting in surgery
- General patient treatments
- Blood collection
- Animal restraint
- Triage of incoming patients
- collection and analysis of lab samples
- diagnostic imaging
- management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability
- administration of medications
- effective communication of treatment plans with clients
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
