Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards, ensuring freshness and quality at all times
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining accuracy in register operations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout each shift
- Assist in training new team members on food preparation techniques, POS operation, and customer service standards
Requirements
- Prior food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours effectively
