We are looking for a reliable and energetic Live Event Heat Press Operator to join our apparel activation team. This role involves operating heat press equipment at live events, festivals, pop-ups, brand activations, and corporate functions to produce custom apparel on-site for customers and guests.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in fast-paced environments, has strong attention to detail, and can interact professionally with customers while maintaining production quality and speed.
Responsibilities
- Operate heat press machines safely and efficiently during live events
- Apply DTF, vinyl, sublimation, or transfer prints onto garments
- Prepare garments and ensure proper alignment and placement
- Maintain consistent print quality and temperature settings
- Assist with event setup and teardown
- Keep workspace clean, organized, and production-ready
- Manage apparel inventory and transfer organization during events
- Troubleshoot minor production issues on-site
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Work efficiently under pressure during high-volume periods
Requirements
- Experience using heat press equipment preferred
- Knowledge of garment printing and apparel production is an asset
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift equipment/boxes when needed
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and event schedules
- Positive attitude and ability to work in team environments
- Reliable transportation is an asset
Preferred Skills
- Experience with live printing or brand activations
- Familiarity with DTF transfers, vinyl weeding, or embroidery setup
- Customer service experience
- Basic understanding of apparel sizing and garment handling
