We are a line painting and parking lot maintenance company. We operate throughout the lower mainland and Sunshine Coast. Our work consists of line painting parking lots and parkades for construction and repaint of existing parking lots/parkades for residential, commercial and industrial sites. We also paint warehouse floors for safety and process management.
Job description
We are looking for labourers to learn the business and progress in skills and responsibility. Because this is seasonal work, it is an excellent job for university as well as grades 11/12 students. We are looking to grow our business which makes it an excellent job for someone looking for a new career. Employees must have:
- Your own steel toe boots
- Be reliable, willing to learn and enthusiastic
- Ability to walk a lot, lift and carry 50 pound paint buckets, stencils and equipment as required
- Prior layout experience in a construction environment would be a big asset. Any other experience that requires measuring, cutting, lining up and 3 dimensional visualization would also be valuable.
- This is a very physically demanding job. You must be physically fit.
- Be able to work outdoors in the heat
- Be able to work any time of day or night and on weekends
-Own transportation to job sites would be preferable but we can transport if you can get to our home base in North Delta
We will provide:
- High vis gear
- Gloves
- Masks when necessary
- Training and development and increased levels of responsibility and pay for people who excel
- Pay to and from jobsites, cellphone allowance for people who move up to supervisory roles can be negotiated
We are a family-owned company aiming to grow and need good employees who can start as casual/part-time leading to full time as we expand. We have many different shifts as our business is 24/7.
Pay: $18.25-$30.00 per hour
