A & L Canada Laboratories Inc. (A & L) is one of Ontario’s largest Agricultural and Environmental laboratories specializing in soil, plant tissue, fertilizer, food and water testing. A & L provides reliable, comprehensive and effective services for analytical testing. Our Environmental division provides inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, general chemistry, microbiology and pesticide analysis using state of the art technology and methodology.
A & L Canada Laboratories Inc. is currently seeking a Laboratory Aid (Feed) Contract Role to support day-to day laboratory operations. This is a hands-on role for individuals looking to be a part of a team, in a collaborative and professional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Grinding of all sample types
- Receiving and layout of all incoming samples
- Cleaning of equipment after use
- Cleaning of work area
- Any ad hoc assignments as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in industrial setting, experience in animal feed considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Willing to be flexible in job duties
- Speak, read and write English
- Own transportation
- Minimum of a High School diploma
