Description
YOUR ROLE
As a First Officer on the Dash 8 , you will assist with pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties related to the operation of our Dash 8 aircraft. You will be responsible for operating the aircraft in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies in a variety of dynamic environments, primarily throughout Quebec and Ontario.
You will safely operate the Dash 8 to northern airports with gravel runways under a wide range of weather conditions. You will also help maintain the company’s image by performing your duties professionally when interacting with customers and colleagues.
You will participate regularly in training programs to achieve and maintain a high level of proficiency and to continuously develop your skills as a pilot.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Holds an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with a valid IATRA qualification or completion of the ATPL written examinations.
- Has a minimum of 500 total flight hours.
- Holds a valid aviation medical certificate that meets regulatory requirements and is fit to perform flight duties.
- Bilingual (French and English), with strong proficiency in aviation English required for daily operational communications and for understanding company manuals and documentation, as required by Transport Canada.
- Knowledge of the Cree language is considered an asset.
- Resides in the Timmins Area (Quebec) to ensure reliable operational availability within 90 minutes.
- Has previous experience on multi-engine aircraft and in IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) operations.
