Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and possess knowledge of food safety protocols. This position involves various tasks in a food processing environment. If you are a jack of all trades this position is for you. Potential candidates must have their own transportation to go out and purchase materials when needed (KM's will be reimbursed).
Duties:
- Move materials within the facility (main role)
- Do deliveries if needed (must have valid license with clean drivers abstract)
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements and inventory
- Sanitize work areas and clean dishes according to food safety standards
- Label and Package finished products for distribution
- Assist in shipping and receiving of goods and materials (main role)
-Purchase ingredients and materials in a timely manner (main role)
-Assist and report to Operations Manager
-Perform basic maintenance around facility
-Willing to learn basic baking and or sandwich making if required.
Experience:
- Prior experience in the food industry is preferred
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and inventory tracking
-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
