Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Cook/Baker. The ideal candidate will have a background in the food industry, with experience in cooking/baking.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and resident dietary guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Handle food items with care, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed.
- Participate in kitchen maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry, including restaurant or kitchen settings.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for handling food items.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and dietary needs of residents
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and residents.
