About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to oversee banquet and event operations at our golf amenity course and banquet facilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment and possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
This role is responsible for ensuring events are executed efficiently and professionally from initial room setup through guest departure, while maintaining exceptional service standards and supporting event staff throughout service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee room setup and ensure all event spaces are prepared in accordance with event requirements and work orders
- Correctly interpret and execute work order instructions and event details
- Coordinate with service staff and assign sections and responsibilities
- Supervise banquet and event operations from guest arrival through guest departure
- Ensure high standards of guest service and professionalism are maintained throughout all events
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, banquet staff, and management to ensure seamless event execution
- Monitor event flow and proactively resolve operational or guest issues as they arise
- Assist with staff supervision, support, and performance management during events
- Ensure efficient room turnover and readiness for subsequent events
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within event spaces
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-volume hospitality, banquet, restaurant, or event environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Contract & Salary
- This is a full-time permanent position
- Salary: Hourly compensation commensurate with experience
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
