About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable Car Rental Agent to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers with vehicle rentals, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure each customer has a smooth rental experience from pickup to return.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and assist with rental reservations and vehicle selection.
- Explain rental agreements, insurance options, and company policies.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after rentals.
- Drive, move, and position rental vehicles safely as needed.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customers.
- Process rental contracts, payments, and returns accurately.
- Answer customer questions and resolve concerns professionally.
- Coordinate vehicle availability and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate records and follow company procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's license .
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle operation, features, and basic maintenance.
- Comfortable driving a variety of vehicle types.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or the automotive industry is an asset but not required.
