Duties:
- Conduct psychotherapy sessions with patients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Assess and treat mental health conditions in patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in acute distress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Psychotherapy, or a related field
- Registered to practice Therapy in Ontario, OCSWSSW, CRPO, etc. (not currently accepting applicants who are Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying).
- Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a hospital or pediatric setting
- Knowledge of case management principles and practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals
- Strong research skills to stay current with the latest developments in the field of psychotherapy
- Experience in CBT, ACT, DBT, and other therapeutic modalities is a must
