Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovations Specialist to join our construction and restoration team. This role involves executing a variety of renovation projects, including residential and commercial spaces, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, carpentry, and related trades, capable of interpreting schematics and working with various tools and materials to deliver exceptional results.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, cabinet installation, flooring, tile laying, and drywall work.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as required for project specifications.
- Apply caulking, painting, and restoration techniques to improve or refurbish structures.
- Install plumbing, electrical systems (with appropriate experience), and perform basic electrical or plumbing repairs.
- Use construction estimating skills to assist in project planning and material procurement.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly store tools and materials after use.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, renovation, or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or electrical work.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation preferred.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, tile laying, flooring installation, cabinetry installation, and painting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems or electrical wiring is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Valid <PERSON> license or relevant certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
