Job Summary
This is an aluminum panel and window fabrication position at our facility in Bedford. If you have job related experience, this would be an asset.
Our plant is not on a regular bus route so transportation is required.
Please note this is NOT a welding position.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication of various assemblies / products from blueprints and work orders under the supervision of senior fabricator
- General shop duties as needed ie material handling, assisting machinery operations, cleaning and organizing, maintenance.
- Lifting of heavy materials required
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments an asset
- Knowledge in blueprint reading and understanding schematics an asset.
- Experience with power tools and basic hand tools
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as tapes for precision work.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- WHMIS certificate
- Punctual and reliable. Hours are Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 2pm
