Early Childhood Educator II (ECE II) – Job Posting
Thompson Children’s World Daycare is looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator II (ECE II) to join our team.
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about supporting children’s growth and development in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and programs for children
- Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment
- Observe and document children’s progress and behaviours
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Supervise children during indoor play, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods
- Follow Manitoba childcare regulations, daycare policies, and health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with coworkers and management team
Qualifications
- Valid Manitoba ECE II Certification
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in a licensed childcare setting is an asset
Position Information
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Location: Thompson, Manitoba
- Wage: $28.36 (Increases every year)
- Start Date: As soon as possible
