Job Title: Head Concierge
Location: Richmond
Schedule: Monday to Friday morning shifts
Pay Rate: $26-$28 depending on experience
Benefits: Extended health & dental after 6 months of employment
We are seeking a highly professional, presentable, and articulate individual to serve as the on-site representative for a residential building. This is a leadership-focused role that requires confidence, sound judgment, and the ability to proactively manage operations, people, and resident expectations.
This role is strictly for candidates with relevant, hands-on experience. Applicants without demonstrated background in similar roles will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary on-site liaison representing the building to residents, strata council, and service providers- Proactively oversee day-to-day building operations to ensure high service standards
- Supervise on-site staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Support strata administration and consistently enforce building policies and procedures
- Monitor and respond to safety, security, and maintenance matters
- Coordinate with contractors and maintenance teams to address operational issues
Required Qualifications:
Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese will be considered a strong asset- Demonstrated experience proactively overseeing staff, including training, coaching, and managing performance
- Strong background in professional communication with management and stakeholders, including:
- Writing clear and effective emails
- Preparing periodic reports
- Providing operational recommendations
- Reviewing and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Solid understanding of strata operations, administration, and building systems
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols in a residential environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and represent the building with professionalism at all times.
Important:
This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must be able to demonstrate prior experience managing people, coordinating operations, and communicating at a professional level with multiple stakeholders.
